It Can Wait.

3 words that are very powerful and VERY important.

I’m proud to be working with AT&T and their amazing and incredible campaign – “It Can Wait.”
They are saving lives through spreading awareness on NO texting while driving and asking everyone to take this pledge… no text is more important than your life.

Every text can wait.

I just love what AT&T is doing because – especially now with everyone connected – it’s vital to spread this kind of awareness.

Well… yesterday I had the opportunity to head to Lincoln, RI and visit an AT&T store where I got to meet and chat with Steve Krom, vice president and general manager, AT&T New England. It was wonderful meeting Steve because he has such passion for the “It Can Wait” program.

To help address the issue and show first-hand the risks of texting while driving, AT&T developed a state-of-the-art virtual reality simulator to demonstrate the dangers of texting while driving. Steve encouraged me to try it out while I was there with him… and I’m going to be honest, it was eye-opening as to how quickly I “failed” at it. Here I am trying to text while drive at the store’s simulator.

Everyone should try this, it really shows you just how quickly an innocent text can change your life while you’re driving. Especially as a mom of 5 young children, it’s even more important for me to spread the importance of this campaign. It’s VERY powerful.
