Leaves are more still.
The wind whispers a new sound.
Geese are squawkier.
Echoes carry further.
Laughter lingers.
The still is stiller.
Shadows cast themselves longer.
Sunset stretches, stretches, s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s herself each evening.
You can almost touch the moon.
The world wraps itself in readiness for Autumn.
Colors become softer…
I love it.

The thought of August already here has made me sad. However, reading this post made me smile and appreciate it a bit more. Time to jam in all the summer plans that we haven’t gotten around to.
