Behind the Scenes at our Newborn Photo Shoot with Amy Ro Photography

Yesterday we had our newborn photo shoot with Amy Ro Photography. Amy is a genius at what she does, and I couldn’t wait wait wait to get these photos taken! Amy likes to do the shoot when the baby is about 7-10 days old, so it was perfect timing.

Amy posted some beautiful photos yesterday that she caught yesterday… she’ll have all of them for us to look at in about a week or so, but she’s amazing and gives sneak peeks on her Facebook page!

I wanted to share some of the ones that Amy posted… and give you a little “what we were really laughing about” from behind the scenes!

This is one of my fave photos… me and my girl…

Right after this photo was taken, I looked down and Victoria had literally pooped ALL over my hand and down my arm! LOL… it was gross, but it was the funniest thing in the world because she didn’t even wake up! And honestly, I didn’t feel it till I was handing her to Matt!

So in this photo…

Matt and I were laughing because we were like, “Who is going to get pooped on!? Our beautiful baby girl with the little explosive bummie!”

But it was this photo that grabbed my heart…

This captures me in a very special way. When this photo was being taken, Matt wouldn’t and couldn’t take his eyes off of her. In this very photo is everything and anything I ever dreamed of for my husband and my daughter.

And look… I’m literally crying as I type this right now.
