Learn to Golf (Lesson 4): Reviewing the Skills

I’ve partnered with the PGA of America and working with an amazing instructor Susan Bond in Rhode Island to learn how to play golf. Golf is something I’ve ALWAYS wanted to learn how to do, and I’m ecstatic that I’ve had the chance over the last few weeks to start getting this skill down. I adore my instructor Susan Bond, she’s a great teacher and really has taken her time with me (since I’m truly a beginner!). What I appreciate about Susan is that her passion for the game is so obvious… I love that she makes me WANT to be good and get things down pat. I just love that about her.

With my 4th lesson here… and truly me being about 34 weeks pregnant, I was worried to do anything too much. I knew I could handle putting, chipping and pitching… but not doing the full rotation and actually driving hard with the club.

So… for this final lesson, we did some reviewing:

Putting
Chipping
Pitching
Driving

I’m happy to report that I was able to put, chip and pitch to perfection (at least, for me!) while pregnant… definitely know I can move along with these skills and have them work for me in my future golfing game.

I was afraid to try the golf range… I wasn’t comfortable driving the ball with my preggers belly! But! And this is a big “but”… I get it, and I know once I have Victoria, I will be ready to try it out!

Really fun day!!!!!
