Fashion Alert: What is Peplum?

Peplum shirts are VERY “hot” right now. They are still trending and still a fabulous option this summer to make when it comes to fashion.

That being said… I’ve been asked a few times lately by my readers exactly is a “peplum” shirt.

I’m excited to answer this fashion question because I don’t think I knew the answer a couple of years ago myself!

So what is PEPLUM?

n. pl. pep·lums
1. A short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, or dress.

It is also EXTREMELY flattering for someone who isn’t too happy with their mid-section.
