It’s not my anniversary.

It’s not the day I met Matt years and years ago.

It’s just an average day for us.

We went out to dinner last night with the boys, and I sat across from my husband just thinking to myself, “God, I love this man.”

Matt is truly my perfect other 1/2.  That puzzle piece that fits perfectly with mine.  He’s my soul mate.  My best friend.  The one who ultimately always and forever has my back.

We’ve ALWAYS dreamt BIG together… even when we were living in a tiny, studio NYC apartment right out of college and weren’t making much money.  We still made it fun.  We would dream of having kids.  We would dream of living in a house with a driveway (an indulgence when you live in NYC). We would dream of everything and our dreams always had each other in them.

You start to see many different kinds of relationships as you get older.

You see relationships that work.  You see relationships that don’t work.

You begin to cherish and honor (even more) what you have.

That was me last night, over a random Tuesday night dinner.

My husband is my rock, my anchor, my everything.

He means the world to me and I just love him so very much!

He is and always has been my happily-ever-after!
