In our own back yard… sort of!

Roger Williams Park Zoo, for a wildly fun afternoon…

Last Tuesday, during April school vacation, Barry and I traveled across the world with 3 of our grandsons, Andrew (10), Jake (8) and Dylan (4). Well, we actually traveled a few miles to Providence’s Roger Williams Park Zoo and had wild adventures that kept us smiling, learning and laughing (and eating!) all day long…

I have a camera-full of photos documenting our adventure, but this little series of our 3 guys inside the Winds of Africa exhibit has me mesmerized… watching the joy of this discovery and the hundreds of questions that followed this mind and body blowing fun!

Hundreds of miles from Providence… bringing hundreds of smiles!

LOVE the photos of the kids from the winds of Africa, how fun! since the time the boys were babies i would take them to the zoo weekly (sometimes more) but the last year or so we have barely been. didn’t even know they had that. thanks for this post, reminds me i have to start taking them to the zoo more again. 🙂

I can’t wait to take my kids there on one of my trips home this summer. Their faces are just so precious in that winds of Africa thing!!!

What a fun and beautiful weather day. I loved taking G to that zoo in RI. So much fun that I don’t think we ever made it all the way through. A must do this summer during a trip back home. 🙂
