50 Things to Do with your Kids over Spring Break

I woke up this morning thinking, “Day 1 of Spring Break begins.” When I was a kid, I used to countdown for spring break. When I became a mom, I started to dread spring break. I have to say, I’m a work-at-home mom, so I do have it on the easier side, I don’t have to worry about daycare and childcare for the kids. I don’t have to worry about taking time off of work. I just need to make sure we (me and the kids) have things to do. There’s nothing worse than sitting on the couch doing nothing over break… it doesn’t make for happy kids or happy parents.

So… this morning I thought I’d have a little fun with the boys. I had them all sit around the table and help me come up with 20 things to do this week from home. Here were the stipulations:
– We weren’t going away on vacation, so everything had to be around here.
– The more things we could do at home, the better.
Well, 20 things turned into 30 things, and 30 turned into 40… and we sort of got on a roll.
