Brian and I just returned from a 10-day trip to South Florida. It was awesome.
I knew that I’d be exposing much more skin than I’m used to while on vacation (March in Rhode Island isn’t exactly bikini weather), so I wanted to make sure I had a hint of a tan by the time we landed in Florida. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was going to be giving Jergens® Natural Glow products a try, and leading up to our vacation was the perfect time.
As I packed for my trip, I realized it had been WAY too long since I’d had the chance to wear cute spring/summer clothes. The last few months here in New England have brought a lot of snow, rain, chilly temps, and more snow. I had a lot of pretty, flowy dresses to pack, but I found that I was lacking on some fun, spring-y pants and shirts to bring along. I also needed a new bikini. So… I went shopping!

Before we got down to Florida, I made sure to take a picture of myself (with Brian) sans Jergens® Natural Glow. This is evidence of just how pasty white I am in the winter.
The first few days of our vacation were a bit cloudy – not exactly the type of weather that makes you want to hang by the pool. But that was okay, because it gave me the chance to work on my sunless tan. 🙂
A couple of days into our trip it was St. Patty’s Day. I decided it was the perfect time to wear my new spring outfit since we would be sitting outside at an Irish pub in Ft. Lauderdale and it was a little chilly that evening (for South Florida, at least). Despite not spending much time at all in the sun yet, I had a nice golden glow thanks to using Jergens®!
Throughout the rest of our vacation, I continued to use Jergens® Natural Glow products to keep my skin looking sun-kissed. I spent some time lounging by the pool and walking on the beach, but tried to stay in the shade and/or wear a hat as much as possible. My Jergens® products were giving me plenty of color!
