Daily Diary: William modeling and Me trying not being Kris Kardashian
Yesterday afternoon William had a modeling assignment for Providence Media. He was asked to model for the cover of their SO Rhode Island April Issue… and truth be told, he couldn’t wait for the day to arrive.
I was a little nervous because the theme was “Geek Chic.” It’s tough explaining to an 8-year old that he needs to look chic as a geek… but he went with it and had a ton of fun with it. I pulled clothing from Lands’ End and Old Navy to accomplish the look for him and was really pleased as to how the styling turned out. The set stylist Karli was AMAZING and turned my William into a little styling “Geek Chic” machine!
I was so proud watching him.
He did exactly what they asked him to do, and I couldn’t have had a bigger smile on my face while we went through each shot. And no, I wasn’t all Kris Kardashian… I let them run the show!

It doesn’t hurt that William IS a super-smart guy with a beyond awesome sense of humor and is already comfortable in his own skin! I cannot stop smiling at these photos! Way to go, William! xoxox!
