P&G Event Have You Tried This Yet? with Robert Verdi, Vanessa Lachey and Irma Martinez

On Wednesday, I attended a fabulous and chic event at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Lab in NYC for P&G at their Have You Tried This Yet? Event.

I love attending these P&G events because I learn something new and fresh and interesting every time I’m at one. Listening to Robert Verdi, Vanessa Lachey and Irma Martinez is always amazing. They shared their FAVE entertaining and fashion tips that (of course) I devour!

Here were 4 of my FAVE tips I took away from the day:

1) Robert giving the advice to decorate with mix and match trays. I love this idea, I never do this and think it would add such a chic and beautiful look to any entertaining function I have at home. I absolutely love how he creates a warm environment and welcoming atmosphere through this simple tip.

2) Vanessa giving the advice of always having a Kid’s Corner. I have 4 sons, so whenever we entertain, kids are involved. Vanessa mentioned that during her Super Bowl party she set-up a Kid’s Corner where the kids had their own food and activities and drinks. I loved the idea of having a set area where the kids can go and have fun.

3) Irma giving the advice to take some of the Downy Unstopables and put them in little baggies in your closet and/or drawers. I LOVE the scent and use them whenever I’m doing laundry, but I’ve never thought to put them in little baggies (she recommends jewelry baggies) and put them in the closet and drawers. Such a great idea! Everything will always smell fresh and clean!

4) Robert, Vanessa and Irma all shared this tip… when out of town guests come to stay, create a gorgeous basket for them to use filled with products like Charmin Toilet Paper, Olay/Venus Razor, Colgate White Strips, Towels, Hairbrush, etc. I love the idea to make them feel like this is YOURS, this is not stuff they have to borrow and give back. It makes it very personal.
