Daily Diary: Alex on the COVER of Providence Monthly Magazine!

I’m mentioned this quite a few times on my blog, but my Alex is a huge fashionisto. The little guy likes to look good and he loves to make sure his hair is always “cool” (and I quote).

About a month ago, my cousin Jen Senecal and I (who run Rhody Mamas together) were asked to write a cover-story for Providence Monthly magazine with the idea around “How to Raise a Cool Kid” in Providence. We have so much art and culture and events and experiences right in little ole Providence, that we were excited to share and gush about some of our favorite places and things to do in the City.

It got even MORE exciting when the editor asked each of us if one of our kid’s would be on the cover. Jen had her daughter Averi and I had ALEXANDER! I figured this was TOTALLY up his alley.

We had a BLAST on the day of the shoot. The kids were GREAT and they totally listened and did their very best.

We couldn’t wait to see the final product… and FINALLY, we got to see it!
