Believe it or not, they are all obsessed with watching YouTube videos. It is the funniest thing. I make sure ALL the content is appropriate before they watch it, but it’s something that is very amazing because my kids are growing up as technology-forward and digital kids. Watching YouTube videos to them is as common as watching TV to me. Even last night, I was wondering how to make a certain dish and my oldest son said, “Look on YouTube for a recipe.” it’s second-nature to them. I will say, as mom… I do get worried that they will be on YouTube and click on something that just isn’t right and/or appropriate for them to be checking out. It’s something you hear about from other parents and though it hasn’t happened to us yet, I know if could happen.

Well, thanks to LEGO, I don’t have to worry about this anymore.

LEGO® has released their official channel on YouTube and are helping to create awareness and getting parents to go and build playlists for their kids to watch. It’s the COOLEST thing. I can build separate playlists for EACH of my sons (which makes them happy, believe me!). If you have kids, especially between the sweet ages of 6-11, I am totally encouraging you to head over and create a playlist. There are over 500 videos to chose from, with new videos being added everyday and all from LEGO, a name I know and I trust. Kids get to go behind the scenes, be inspired, entertained and see the newest LEGO video shorts! It’s total fun for your kids to watch and easy for YOU to create (even better!). Playlists can be accessed anywhere to help keep your kids entertained – in the car, at the airport, waiting in-line, around the house, etc!

It’s GENIUS.

Not to mention, it’s SUPER DUPER easy to create one!

1. Visit Youtube.com/LEGO and watch one of your favorite videos with your kids.

2. Click on ‘Video Options’.

3. Select ‘Add to Playlist’.

4. Sign-in using your YouTube login (it may already be set up).

5. Add your selected video to an existing playlist or create a new one.
