I’ve always been a fan.
She’s so creative and unique with her creations.
According to Style.com, Lela Rose based her Fall collection on the Brothers Grimm fairy tales she’s been reading to her children. Stripped of their Disney sanitizations, the stories Rose thought she knew revealed themselves to be dark, mythical, magical tales—ones that called for interpretation into clothes.
I’m always intrigued by the inspiration of a designer and how they transcended this inspiration to a full Collection.
Lela Rose… she didn’t disappoint!
My feelings on Lela Rose Fall 2013…
Romantic… sweet… and bold. I felt the Fairy Tale feel of the Collection. I think it was adorable and I love the different colors and the feeling of peace, serene and passion. I wouldn’t wear everything, but there are key pieces I would definitely pull from for myself! 🙂
