Audrey’s Notes from Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Donna Karan New York

Audrey’s Notes from Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Donna Karan New York

I’m a Donna Karan lover.

(And now just because I worked for her personally.)

I genuinely love what she creates.  She knows the body of a woman and makes it her business to make it beautiful.  It’s inspiring to see.

I knew her Fall 2013 Collection would be exquisite.

As Style.com reported, “Donna Karan came up with a great collection that went back to her own first success, the Seven Easy Pieces sensation of the mid-eighties. For anyone who needs a refresher, Seven Easy Pieces was an innovative black bodysuit-based wardrobe, Karan’s answer to the fashion excesses of the day. Fast-forward 30 years and take a look at the current street-style phenomenon. It’s fair to say that we’re living through another rather baroque period. Enter Donna and her black stretch jersey.”

BOOM!

Here are the trends from Donna Karan…

1. Black

2. Stretch Jersey is HOT as can be!

3. Fur touches

4. Sexy silhouettes

My feelings…

Donna Karan at her finest. I loved the Collection. I could see myself in ANY of those pieces. BRAVO DONNA!
