Thankful Thursday

I’m happy it’s Thankful Thursday today because I’m not in the greatest mood and I can’t quite put my finger on why. So a reminder of the things I’m thankful for this week is much needed. Here they are:

  • A fabulous dinner last night with my sister-in-law and two of our friends. It had been too long since the four of us last got together for dinner, and I had such a fun, relaxing, enjoyable evening with them.
  • Spending time alone at Starbucks yesterday afternoon before dinner. I had a few hours between my physical therapy appointment and dinner last night, but it wasn’t enough time to go all the way home, so I caught up on some blog reading – with no distractions – while sipping a skinny vanilla latte.
  • My Mom taking care of the dogs yesterday while Brian and I were both away from home for much of the day. And I always appreciate when she texts me photos of the dogs enjoying their time with Grandma.
Mom texted me this photo with the caption: “Comfy or what!?”
  • Words with Friends. I have a slight addiction to it, but that’s okay. It’s educational, right? ๐Ÿ™‚
  • A break from the Arctic weather we had last week. I’m not a fan of freezing cold temps and neither is my dry skin. Today it’s sunny and the temperature has to be in the 50’s. I’m loving it!

What are you thankful for this Thursday?

I’m in a blah mood too. We all need a little more sunshine! So glad we got a taste of warmer weather today, it was very much needed.

Can you leave the dogs every day!? I love their little noises and breathing and pitter-patter… xoxox!

Time for us to WWF together!!!

Words with friends is great!! So great that I had to delete it from my phone because I was addicted! Great list – so important to be thankful but something that doesn’t always come as second nature.

I love playing WWF with you! And I am equally addicted to that and Scramble with Friends! Should we play that too?

BTW, if you mom needs another dog to watch, I have one sad looking boy right here! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love seeing photos of your pups! They are just too cute. I had the windows open for a bit this morning while the air was warm. Felt so good to have fresh air come through the house. Happy Thursday!

I think winter has me in a bit of a funk too. I think I will join in this meme next week. I also have a seriousl addiction to words with friends…I’ll have to find ya on there! ๐Ÿ™‚

So I’ve switched from my Words with Friends addiction to Scramble with Friends – have you tried it?! FUN! And, like you, I justify the time “waste” since it’s using my brain!
Feel better – there’s nothing like pausing to be grateful to make me feel better!

This always helps me to remain more positive! Nights out with girlfriends & alone time at a coffee shop helps to turn your mood around too!

You’re so lucky to have your parents to watch the pups when you go away! We’re fortunate that we can take Daisy when we go “home” to NY, but sometimes it would be nice to not have to worry about bringing her with us (she’s not a huge fan of traveling, or my aunt and uncle’s dogs–they make her nervous) Daisy is an all black dog….maybe we could slip her in with your babies for a weekend…nobody would notice! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Look at those pups! ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you’re feeling better. It’s totally this SUCK ASS weather. Kills me, too. I’m jealous of your Starbucks time and we need to start up our WWF games again! I’ll come find you. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I get in moods like that too. I love the dogs just taking a rest, enjoying their day.
