Beef Chili Recipe is something I’ve hunted for forever! I finally found one that I love from Hunt’s and it’s their Signature Recipe Collection: Fire-Roasted Beef Chili. Talk about chili you will love always and forever! In my large family, there’s always room for a celebration. It doesn’t matter how many weekend grandchildren swim meets, basketball games, indoor soccer games or ballet recitals. It doesn’t matter how many 3, 4 or 5-mile runs I squeeze in. It just matters that my husband Barry and I love being with our family, love cooking for our family celebrations, and were very excited this past weekend about our beautiful grand-dog Ryder’s birthday party as she turned 11. Our daughter Jane and her husband Brian hosted Ryder’s birthday celebration with Ryder’s 2 doggie siblings (Tansy and Jethro), their dog cousin Timothy, and a bunch of us humans, too.
Beef Chili Recipe
This particular weekend, with all the activities swirling around us, the love-to-bring-something-to-the-party cooking part seemed an almost impossibility until I remembered a big pot ‘o Chili that I had recently whipped up using Hunt’s Signature Recipe Collection‘s Fire-Roasted Beef Chili. This Hunt’s Beef Chili Recipe not only rivals the chili my Mom made in her steam cooker (hours of goodness) when I was a kid, but came so close to my son Keith’s famous and secret chili recipe that I needed a Chili taste-test. Ryder’s party seemed like the perfect venue.
Ah, ha. Bring it on!
But how do you go about creating slow-cooked, simmering-for-hours, delectably perfect, hearty and healthy chili greatness (now that’s a mouthful of chili adjectives) in less than the hour (that’s one hour!) I had to do it in? I turned to Hunt’s. Just watch how:
Begin with Hunt’s Fire-Roasted Diced Tomatoes and Hunt’s Tomato Paste. I love the 100% natural flavor and goodness of Fire-Roasted for that perfect southwestern touch and taste; and, of course, the no artificial preservatives or ingredients for my family’s healthy table. I also choose Hunt’s for its FlashSteam goodness – no chemicals. Hunt’s Fire-Roasted is… shhhhh, my most secret chili ingredient.
Beef Chili Recipe for anyone to use
Note the time: 12:08 pm. The party was starting at 2:00 pm. No problem.
I doubled the recipe to give everyone at the party a nice, hearty taste; but the prep time was just as quick and easy. Ingredients: Ground Chuck Beef, chopped yellow onion, chopped green bell pepper, canned beans in sauce, Hunt’s Fire-Roasted Tomatoes, Hunt’s Tomato Paste, water, chili powder, salt, ground cumin, smoked paprika.
Cook beef, onions and peppers…
Stir in all remaining ingredients. Can you say “Easy?”
Stir up that pot. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 15 minutes.
Clean and sparkle up my kitchen because I don’t like coming home to a kitchen clean-up!
In 51 minutes (including all the “expert” photography and clean-up!)… my Hunt’s Fire-Roasted Beef Chili was ready to deliver to Jane & Brian’s…
So let’s get this party started!
Bring on the Chili, staying crock-pot warm on a cold, cold winter’s day.
First bowl/taste goes to Keith, Chili-maker extraordinaire. Hmmmmm…
A winning-Chili recipe all around, and no-one could believe the great taste and hearty, healthy goodness in such little time. (Remember the secret of Hunt’s Fire-Roasted Diced Tomatoes.)
And a few Birthday Party shots…
And lots of fun…
Oh. I think I may just have one Chili-batch adjustment for next time – TRIPLE IT!
There’s nothing like family. Beautiful pets. Busy, active weekends. Wonderful celebrations.
And easy, quick, delicious cooking that keeps me out of the kitchen and in on the fun! Thanks, Hunt’s!
Happy 11th Birthday to my beautiful grand-dog Ryder, who makes my heart so, so happy and gave us a reason to celebrate…
– Parting shot: Cousin Timmy snatching the last of the doggie birthday cupcakes…
