How to decorate a Christmas Tree to match your grandkids

How to decorate your Christmas Tree to match your grandkids…

Each Christmas, I buy matching pajamas for my grandkids and have each pair monogrammed with individual names and the year.  It’s a tradition that began back in 2004 with 3 grandkids, and it has grown to 9 grandkids.  This tradition is one of my great joys of the Christmas season… watching them unwrap their pj’s!

This year, I took our tradition one step further and decorated our Christmas Tree to match our grandkids.  Yes, I did.

The pajama tops are warm, wonderful, flannel from Lands’ End, and this year I bought Joe Boxer thermal underwear sets for underneath…

Christmas 2012 in matching PJ’s

I love the blue & white, I love the snowflakes… so I thought, “Hmmmmmm…”

I bought lots of white snowflake ornaments.  I bought 5 long, shimmery, blue garlands with silvery snowflakes. And went about my work…

I love the simplicity.  I love the fun.  I LOVED my 9 grandkids noticing the matching tree… and I LOVE our 2012 Christmas Photo!

I may just do this again next year.
