Toy Review: Hot Wheels Ballistiks Super 6-Shooter from Mattel
Being the mom of 4 boys, I’ve become used to all boy things throughout the years.
Boy clothes.
Boy shoes.
Boy blue paint on all of their bedroom walls.
And… of course, BOY TOYS.
Hot Wheels has been a brand that my sons have loved forever! I still remember my oldest son William carrying around a little backpack of Hot Wheels cars when he was 3 years old and treated the like gold. Nobody was allowed to touch them or play with them… they were just his and only his.
As he’s gotten older… as well as his brothers, their love of Hot Wheels has expanded. They love anything that goes fast and they love racing. So truly for us, Hot Wheels toys are perfect.
Recently we were sent Hot Wheels Ballistiks Super 6-Shooter from Mattel 
So what’s so absolutely cool about the Hot Wheels Ballistiks Super 6-Shooter from Mattel
Well first off… you need to know what Ballistiks are (something I didn’t know and my 8 year old needed to explain to me).
Ballistiks are cars that transform into a ball and then back into a car. My sons love to roll them up!
Very cool.
Essentially your kids can challenge, transform and win… all with each other, which I love. They all get excited sitting around, setting up the Super 6-Shooter.
So how do you plat this?
It’s super easy.
You literally put the Ballistiks (as balls) into the shooter and pull and then release from the back of the shooter. After you release, the Ballistiks fly out and land as cars.
It really is SUPER cool!
Your kids just take aim and launch away!
My sons love launching the Ballistiks on my kitchen floor to see how far they go, it’s a different challenge with every launch.
We’ve bought additional Ballistiks because the Super 6-Shooter only comes with one, but it’s really cool to see them launch 6 Ballistiks all after each other!
