Play-Doh Challenge 1: The McClelland Boys Create Play-Doh Masterpieces

Play-Doh Challenge 1: The McClelland Boys Create Play-Doh Masterpieces

My sons have always been obsessed with Play-Doh.

I remember first buying Play-Doh for my William and Alex when they were 2 and 3 years old, they would sit at our kitchen table and just play with Play-Doh for hours and hours. It was so cute to see!

Now that they’re 7 and 8 (and have 2 more brothers to play with now!), not much has changed on the Play-Doh front. They still love to play for hours, but their creations have gotten a little bit more advanced than they were when they were little guys!

Yesterday they asked me if they could all have a Play-Doh Challenge against each other. They wanted me to give them a category, and each of them had to create something under that designated category. And then I had to choose a winner among the 4 of them (mama mia!).

I was game. 🙂 My only fear was, if someone didn’t win… I didn’t want tears, but they PROMISED me, no tears, just FUN!

First category up!? Make a SKYLANDERS GUY.

Second category? Make a FOOD (any food!).

Alex made PASTA.
William made VEGETABLES.
Henry made WATERMELON.
Ben made CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES.

Next category up? Halloween! Make anything Halloween-ish!

Alex made a BAT.
William made a BAT with an orange. 🙂
Henry made a ZOOMBIE.
Ben made a ZOOMBIE and a BAT!

So much fun!

These Play-Doh Challenges will continue! 🙂

(And I did pick winners… we had 4 rounds, and everyone had won at the end. I’m no fool!)
