Behind the scenes of a Family Photo…

The most miraculous thing about a photograph, especially a Family Photograph, is the capture of one moment in time… so evident in the eyes, the smiles, the love.

But the moments just before that capture are the ones that most often capture the essence of the Family at that time in life itself… and the ones I think I love the most!

Yep.  Someone (named Henry) doesn’t want to pose for a Family Photo.  Uh, oh.  Mommy is in a serious position of authority.

Stand-off.

Daddy’s hand secures position.  Mommy urges Henry into position.

Something or someone behind the photographer has the other three brothers laughing.

Henry catches a glimpse of the source of the laughter…

All is well.

(And years from now, no-one will ever really notice or remember Mommy’s vice-like grip on Henry’s arm… !)
