1st Trip Disneyland for the McClelland Family (1st Disney Trip EVER for Henry!)

Disney is one of the most incredible places on earth. Period.

When I was first invited by Vicks DayQuil/NyQuil to come out west for an event, my husband and I looked at flights (they were $300 round-trip from RI!) and thought to ourselves… should we surprise the boys with a Disneyland trip after I’m done with my work trip?

Um. YES. YES. YES.

We don’t have many opportunities to come to the west coast, so when presented with one… we decided to take it as a family.

We have been to Disney World with William, Alex and Ben… but not Henry. He was so small when we went 2 1/2 years ago, that my parents offered to watch him while we took the older guys. As difficult as it was, we went ahead and left him with my parents. It’s something I’ve regretted for the last 2 1/2 years.

So this time around, we came to Disney for the VERY 1st time as a family of 6. 🙂

We also thought it would be fun to experience Disneyland together for the first time while the kids were still young.

Disney is a place where magic happens.
Disney is a place where your children dream big.
Disney is a place where your children have smiles when the enter.

The magic. The beauty. The passion. The fairy tales. The happily-ever-afters. They’re all there. And yesterday I got to experience that first-hand with my family at Disneyland.

My sons were BEYOND excited as we pulled up through the Disneyland gates and hopped on the tram to bring us to the park!

And then we saw the entrance and saw Disneyland was celebrating Halloween!

We all have on our 1st time at Disneyland pins! :0

And then OFF to the rides! We literally went on just about everything. We got there at 11AM and left at 6PM for dinner! (Then went to Carsland for the night, photos to come!)

Henry’s 1st Disney ride ever!

Alex about to get splashed!

We ALL did Thunder Mountain… Henry wasn’t too amused by the ride. LOL…

We rode the Carousel!

We had a BLAST on everything!

We even caught the afternoon showing of Jedi Training Academy and 3 of the boys got called up – William, Alex and Ben!

And they GRADUATED! 🙂

We polished off the day with some additional rides!

Thank you for the magic Disneyland… my sons were in awe and filled with wonder!

Best of all, it was great being together as a family.
