Zarbee’s All-Natural Medicine for your Kids and YOU!

I’ve been a fan of Zarbee’s for awhile now. As a mother of 4 little boys, one can only imagine the colds that rage through my house during the cold winter months. Actually, even this summer the boys have been dealing with some colds and fevers. I will say, it’s not fun to be sick in the summer. I was first introduced to Zarbee’s through one of my friend’s from college. She had recommended I try out Zarbee’s for my son William when I was complaining to her on the phone one night that he was sick and I was terrified to give him anything. I had never heard of Zarbee’s and quickly looked it up online and (even quicker) bought some for the house.

It was my wish come true.

Zarbee’s uses natural ingredients that are proven safe and effective for children and adults. There are no side effects in zarbee’s all-natural products so you can have peace of mind and confidence.

Every year, roughly 10,000 children are taken to emergency rooms because of accidental cough syrup overdoses. In 2007, the FDA decided that medicated cough syrups were not safe for use in young children and as a result, many popular products were either removed from the market or re-labeled for use only in children over 4 years.

All zarbee’s products are:
100% natural
Contain no drugs
Contain no alcohol
Contain no artificial flavors or colors
Gluten free

I’m not kidding, when I used to use “other” over-the-counter medications for my sons, it was like giving them speed. The medicine never worked for them. It used to scare me to pieces because all of a sudden, it was like they were bouncing off the walls.

When I used Zarbee’s, it wasn’t like that, and I appreciated and loved that.

I was HONORED to be invited to a special Zarbee’s luncheon hosted by my friend Liz Gumbinner. And then on top of that, honored to have Zarbee’s be part of our Getting Gorgeous event on Saturday, August 4th.

Meeting Dr. Zarbock (creator of Zarbee’s) was like meeting a celebrity for me… not to mention it’s always cool meeting another parent of 4 boys! 🙂

But it’s his story that I love and his passion…

Zarbee’s was developed by one of the country’s top pediatricians, Zak Zarbock, M.D. In 2007, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) found it unsafe for parents to give any of the current children’s cough syrups to kids under the age of four. This left parents struggling with what to give their coughing child. As a pediatrician and father himself, Dr. Zarbock was frustrated that he was not able to offer any relief to his young patients with coughs and sore throats. He set out to create a safe and effective natural remedy that he could feel good about recommending to parents. That led to Dr. Zarbock’s discovery of a compelling clinical trial showing dark honey was more effective at calming coughs and sore throats in children and young adults. A few short months later, Zarbees Cough Syrup was born: the first natural, safe and effective cough syrup for children 12 months and older. Zarbee’s is now a leader in all natural and effective remedies for the entire family and is found in every major retailer in the country.

Liz Gumbinner assembled such an amazing group of women and it was awesome to see actress Kristen Davis as part of the luncheon!

And the adorable Janice Croze from 5 Minutes for Mom hosting videos! Loved getting to chat and share my Zarbee’s experiences.
