The fun, beauty, magic and JUMPING of Green Animals Topiary Garden!

How to enjoy a “stay-cation”…

Yesterday, Audrey and I headed out with her 4 guys on a field trip of sorts… a kind of afternoon “stay-cation” right here in Rhode Island.  I’m going to let you see and read all about it here, with Audrey’s beautiful recap of our magical afternoon at Rhode Island’s gem, Green Animals Topiary Garden.

What I’m going to tell you is about the lovely arbors, crafted in every corner of the gardens, gifting visitors with lovely shade, lush green… and steps that beg kids to jump from even if they’re technically not for jumping.

Yes, I said steps to jump from that aren’t jumping steps.

Audrey’s boys had followed the perfect Green Animals map (they each had one), finding all 30+ phenomenal Green Animals and checking off each with their colorful crayons… and the butterfly gardens, koi pond, pet cemetery (where the original owner’s show dogs are buried), fruit trees, reeds and bamboo gardens, flower gardens and more.

Then came the glorious shade of that arbor.

And those steps

… and, why not?

The best stay-cation ever!
