Hanes Expands Partnership With Box Tops For Education To Help Raise Money For America’s Schools

My sons are OBSESSED with Box Tops. They literally will seek all products out with Box Tops while we’re grocery shopping. It’s hilarious, they’re like little bees to honey, they find them and just hone on in.

My sons love Box Tops because every quarter at their school, the class that has turned in the most Box Tops wins a special prize. It’s the incentive of this amazing prize pack which keeps my sons on their Box Tops toes! And I will brag for a moment, my oldest son’s class has won every year!

Well… I’m beyond excited to share the news just in time for back to school, Hanes is expanding its exclusive apparel partnership with Box Tops for Education, offering families two great ways to raise money for their local schools while stocking up on apparel essentials.

Hanes introduced the Hanes4Education program in March 2011 as a way for schools to earn valuable Box Tops when they order printed Hanes shirts from suppliers for spiritwear, school uniforms and other school events. Now, Hanes is expanding the partnership to products sold at leading retailers by adding Box Tops to packages of Hanes children’s underwear, socks and outerwear T-shirts as well as select bonus packs of adult underwear and socks.

“Hanes is known for its products’ superior comfort and affordability and its commitment to social responsibility. Now through our expanded partnership with Box Tops for Education, we’re giving families another great reason to feel good about their purchases,” said Sidney Falken, chief branding officer, Hanes. “Since launching last year, Hanes has helped parents and local schools redeem over half a million Box Tops. We are proud to partner with an organization to help schools earn cash for much needed supplies, equipment and other resources and we hope to far extend the impact as we launch our retail program.”

I’m thrilled about this partnership!

Unfortunately, the little box top is usually on packaging for items our family doesn’t purchase. So, I’m not able to clip as many box tops as I would like.
