40 Things That Bring Me JOY!

This last week has been a tough one.

It’s crazy to think that just one week ago I miscarried. It was a very tough time last week, and I couldn’t have gotten through without the support of my family, my friends and all of YOU! The messages, the emails, the Facebook updates, the calls, the twitter messages… I cannot express my gratitude enough. It was amazingly overwhelming, in the best sense.

This past weekend we took the boys to Cape Cod… one of the most beautiful places on earth (in my humble opinion). Cape Cod always brings me peace and joy and just relaxes me. As soon as everything happened, my husband… bless him!… booked a trip to the Cape. It was absolutely just what I needed.

As I was sitting on the beach Saturday afternoon watching my sons play in the water and laugh and splash each other with water, I had a grin from ear-to-ear. This is my JOY. My joy is in the things that can’t be bought, can’t be manufactured… my joy is with the “things” that just are. It’s the beauty in the moments that makes me smile and just makes me so happy.

As I sat there under the hot sun, I took out my notebook and started scribbling down some things that just bring me JOY!

Here are 40 things that do that for me… there’s 100’s more… but I thought I’d start with sharing these!
