As a photographer (and mom) I’m always in need of something like this that I can descreetly slip into once we’re into the darker reception hall for the long wedding shoots. I have tried before with the Dr Scholls for Her version but they just aren’t as cute and don’t fit my feet.
These would be perfect for Blog Her in NYC this summer too. I know I want to have fabulous heels to wear but I’m going to be having long days as well as trying to get out shooting. I know this would be the perfect marriage of fashion, comfort, and function.

I have accumulated, much to Bob’s dismay…lol…quite a closet FULL of really FUN heels!! I’ll be attending two weddings this summer, wearing my heels, and when it’s time for dancing? These are incredible – I help out with weddings at my church – I am there to unlock the door for the florist to arrive, and I’m the one that cleans up and makes sure everything is back to “normal” and locks the door. I also think that part of my job is to help the bride (and her mom) with any last minute things that come up – which means I ‘m typically running around like the proverbial chicken with its head cut off – but I figure, better me than them!
These would be great to slip into as soon as the ceremony is done. Because I’m pretty visible while I’m helping, I want to look dressy – but by the time the I do’s have been said, my feet are usually in desperate need of relief. I ended up with shoes totally off and going barefoot at the last wedding – fortuneatlely that family was super sweet and didn’t mind that I looked ridiculous – but it sure would have been nice to have had these! (And the fact that they come with an expandable carry bag?? GENIUS!!!!)
