Mom Fashion: My 10 Must Haves for July

It’s July 7th and it’s HOT. It’s REAL HOT.

The weather in Rhode Island has been steadily in the 80’s over the last 7 days. To say it’s a scorcher is putting it “lightly!” I don’t mind the heat so much (I know… I know… crazy!, I’m able to tolerate it because I have my essentials that I depend on! 🙂

Here are my July MUST-HAVES… items I am loving (LOVING) this July 2012!

1. J.Crew Boardwalk Tote – $39.99

I am obsessed with this canvas tote! I bring it to my pool club every single day. I pop magazines, books, my notebook and my laptop right in it. It’s the perfect size and easily goes right over my shoulder.

2. Banana Republic’s Timeless Tank – $20

I bought my first Timeless Tank last summer while away on vacation in New Hampshire. I fell in love with them and immediately went online to purchase a few more. These are the most fabulous tanks! They fit well and they are absolutely perfect with skirts/jeans/shorts/capris and to layer!

3. Gillette Venus & Olay Razor

I am obsessed with this razor! This is the best razor I have ever used! It leaves my legs smooth and moisturized immediately. I have never had such success with a razor, and since I’m shaving my legs every other day… I need something FABULOUS!

4. Vineyard Vines Trinket Flip Flops – $35.00

I got these while in Nantucket with Cercone Brown last month. They are so comfy, but the best part… they are fun! I am stopped all the time and asked where I got them. I LOVE them!

5. Lands’ End Women’s Draping Stretch Neck Tank – $6.99 (RIGHT NOW!)

You need a classic “dressy” top, and this is it! The softest draped tank and is fantastic for dressing up a pair of shorts, capris or jeans!

6. Mossimo Supply Co. Fedora with Striped Ribbon – Brown – $10.99

I love a Fedora! I stocked up on about 4 of them from Target! They were so affordable and get the job done beautifully!

7. Ray Ban Aviators – $145.00

OK, I know… kind of expensive. But! If you’re looking for a quality pair of sunglasses that are chic and will never (ever) go out of style, these are them!

8. Scunci Hair Ties

My hair is almost always up in the summer. I need coverage on my hair that’s going to keep it up, and stay up! I am LOVING these hair elastics because they don’t break my hair and they keep it UP!

9. Moroccanoil Restorative Hair Mask – $45

I usually don’t gush like a child over a hair product, but I do over this one. I have never had anything work so well in my hair. I have extremely thick hair, and I’ve been doing a mask once a week since January. The WHOLE texture of my hair has changed. It’s smoother and so much better to manage. I LOVE THIS!

10. Hanes Women’s White Jersey Crewneck T-Shirts – $10.00

I love to wear Hanes tees (and tanks!) in the summer. I’ve been playing tennis in the evening with my friend, and these tees are so comfortable to move in. I also love that they can be worn to play tennis, and then worn off to dinner out! I love a basic tee that has the versatility to go anywhere. Must HAVE!
