I cannot believe Henry is 4 years old today.

It’s mind-boggling to me.

My little guy is so BIG!

My Henry story is my favorite. After having William, Alexander and Benjamin, I thought I was the luckiest woman on the planet with 3 little boys. I’ll never forget October 16th, 2007. I remember making Rice a Roni that afternoon for the boys and all of a sudden getting sick to my stomach. I’d never had that happen before and I couldn’t quite figure out what was wrong. Nobody was sick in the house. It was still too early for stomach flu season. And then I thought, “Could I be pregnant?”

My periods weren’t back to normal yet after having Benjamin… so there was a chance, but truly… what were the odds. (I actually remember thinking that.)

I remember taking the test and seeing 2 lines pop up instantly.

My Henry.

I was BEYOND excited. All my other guys were planned to a “T”… Henry was our first surprise baby and it was the coolest thing in the world. He wanted to be here, and well… his presence has changed our lives for the better. He’s the happiest little kid in the world.
