My sons were sent the Miracle-Gro Kids Mickey Mouse Greenhouse to create about 2 months ago.

We’re BIG Disney fans, so when my sons saw the shape of the Mickey Mouse Greenhouse, they were hooked! Two big GIANT ears round off the top of the Greenhouse, it’s absolutely adorable! But most importantly, they were excited to plant their very own vegetable garden. Last summer we tried to plant some tomatoes and cucumbers and my sons had a BLAST heading outside every single night to see if anything was growing. By mid-summer we finally had some tomatoes for our salad. The pride in their eyes was priceless.

So… that being said, I knew they’d be excited to grow their own vegetable garden in their very own Mickey Mouse Greenhouse.

The Miracle-Gro Mickey Mouse Greenhouse comes with 3 types of vegetables to plant… Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Sweet Peppers.

I personally loved how easy it was to create.

We opened the Gro-Mix packet into a bowl, added 1/2 cup of water and watched the Gro-Mis expand! It was very cool, the boys LOVED it!

We then placed the 3 Gro-Pod containers onto a plate and filled them with the Gro-Mix. After that, we added some seeds to each container, and then covered them a little more with Gro-Mix.

We placed the containers right into the Mickey Mouse Greenhouse and topped it with the lid and Mickey Mouse ears!

VIOLA! Done!

My sons had their Mickey Mouse Greenhouse out on the back deck and literally checked on it every single day. The Miracle-Gro kit even comes with a chart that they can update!

They loved the fact that they were creating a special vegetable garden for themselves and my husband explained the importance of growing your very own vegetables.

I don’t know what happened… but this simple activity gave my husband and the boys a vegetable garden itch. As soon as my husband read that the seedlings could be transplanted from the Greenhouse after they started growing, he asked the boys if they wanted to create a larger garden of their own.

And so… Mickey Mouse Greenhouse, this is what you have inspired!

Words cannot describe how incredible and how into gardening this has made my sons. It’s funny, you never know what’s going to spark excitement in your children… this did!
