Spa Week is April 16th – 22nd and booking has already begun!

I must admit that in all my 59 years, I’ve never done Spa Week… any time, anywhere.

If you’re anything like me, you may be asking, “What IS Spa Week?”

Well, right from the source of the heavenly spring itself, SpaWeek.com., it’s a week when YOU too can take a walk on the wild side and try every health, wellness, medi and fitness treatment at hundreds of spas all across the country at the wildly low price of just $50.

That’s right! $50 treatments at some of your favorite spas across the country throughout the entire week!

This past Monday, Audrey and I were invited to a pre-Spa Week experience at Newport, RI’s beautifully appointed Hyatt Stillwater Spa to feel the deliciousness of Spa Week with the 50 Min Essential Pedicure with Paraffin Treatment “oh-my!” (The “oh-my!” is a bit of editorializing on my part!)…

And Spa we did…

Britney, an amazingly friendly & lovely technician, brought Audrey and me to beyond luxury, calm and beauty with her magical pedicures.  The treatment itself is described like this:  This intensive foot treatment exfoliates and repairs the calloused, dry skin. A customized ritual tailored to your needs, it is finished with a hydrating mask and polish.

But I will add this:  “Oh-my!”

The warm welcome, deliciously calming scents, delectable colors, delightful conversation, extraordinary view…

The hospitality.

The pampering.

And I wondered aloud, “Why haven’t I, any time or anywhere, done Spa Week?”

There are, of course, a million excuses why not.

But to spend an hour with a daughter, mother, grandmother, friend… an hour that was so relaxing that it seemed like an entire day… well, that’s the reason I will be a Spa Week woman from 59 and on!

It’s the perfect week to take a walk on the wild side and try every health, wellness, medi and fitness treatment at hundreds of spas all across the country at the wildly low price of just $50.
