Daily Diary: Cupcake Crack

It’s official, I’m addicted to Magnolia Bakery’s cupcakes. Last night after dinner in NYC, I did a quick mapquest of the closest Magnolia Bakery and made Vera walk with me (thankfully we were close) just to get my sweet treat.

I’m not kidding, I don’t know what it is about these little babies, but they make me happy. Real happy.

And the sad thing is, I just can’t get one, I need to get two of them… and then be talked out of going back for one more.

Ahhh… the simple pleasures of life.

And you know, it’s funny. The other night as I was driving my oldest son home from swimming I asked him to tell me 3 things that made him happy, he said:

1. His new flippers for swim team
2. Seeing his cousins
3. Eating hibachi

3 simple things… I feel the same way when I’m eating Magnolia’s cupcakes.
