I am glad to hear the good news about it being benign! Keep making the best choices you can with the information given. The tumor might be uncommon but what you are going through is not. You have a lot of support from people who have been there and people who are learning from you as you go through it with your family.

Stay strong. I just sent Jane a message because I didn’t want to flood your inbox….when I heard “GIST” it brought back memories of my Dad. That is the name of the tumor my father had to have removed in 1998. He lived cancer free after that. Although he passed away in 2006, there was no evidence of GIST returning. I’m thinking of your guys! Keep the faith.

Audrey, thank you for the update! Changing my note to “Keep Praying for Matt.” You still have the love and support of the Bair family and I am so happy that there are many positives mixed in with everything that you are processing from the full report.
I am happy to hear he is recovering well. And the DX could be worse, like you said. BUT, I know it is still scary. He is young and healthy and has the support of his family. He will be fine, no matter what comes his way. Keep your chin up and know, that God does not give us more than we can handle! Well wishes and prayers from our family to yours. xoxo
