Just like in any relationship, I find it’s the little things my Mom and I do for each other that help keep our relationship so special.
In our first edition of Mother-Daughter Monday, we’re talking laundry… specifically, who does my laundry (sometimes!).
My Mom is always there to help me out with the big and little things – and it always means so much to me.
So, here’s where I admit that I get a little help in the laundry department from my Mom.

Does your Mom help you out with the little things that help make your life easier?
I love this! You guys are so great together! You’ve inspired me today. My daughter *hates* putting her laundry away but it’s the one chore that she’s had for a couple of years now. I’m going to do it for her today, as a gift.
my mom helps me realize that i am not the only mother to go through whatever i am going through at that time.
Well, since I live so far from my mom now, she can’t do much. But when I lived closer, she’d help me by watching the 1 kid I had at the time, when I needed it. I miss having someone I trust for my kids!
I adore the unending love you guys have for each other! My Mom helps me out by helping me plan and purchase the kids next-season wardrobes, offers babysitting services whenever she can, and does general nice gestures for us all the time…. I need to thank her more!!!!
That is so awesome… I love it!!!
I hate doing laundry and my mom often ends up helping me too. (But she doesn’t enjoy it.) LOL
Honestly, your family is such an inspiration to me. I adore you all.
Your family is truly such an inspiration. You are so blessed to be so close, have that amazing bond, and love for one another. I love reading your site and the tweets from all of you.
Sharon, you are Amazing. I have begged my daughter at times to let me help her out with her laundry and she will not let me do it. Jane, you are one blessed daughter! My mom loves to treat me every now and then to a new outfit. Love your Mother/Daughter Videos.
So…
You’re not quesy about your mom handling your man’s underwear?
How does your mom handle laundering underwear anyways? Separate? In the mix with everything? Delicate cycle?
Are there times when they just MUST be thrown away?
