Being sick all last week wasn’t fun, but if there could have been a silver lining, it was that I got to spend some extra special time with the boys. I canceled all of my trips last week and appointments that were outside the house, so I was home, all week… non-stop.

On Wednesday morning, Alexander called me into the kitchen to help him name the book he was making. He was so excited about it that he was literally jumping up and down (and if you know Alex, you know what I mean) with his “great” idea for his book. I walked in and he said, “I need you to write the title for me – Alex Rocks. And, mom? Can you write it on the top of the book, so I can draw me underneath it.” So… as any mom would do, I obliged and loved the “working title” of it.

I saw him sketching away at the kitchen table for about a half hour. And then the question was posed, “How do you spell – Is it cool? Yes or no?” OK, this brought me back over and he proceeded to show my clothing he was drawing that he thought was cool.

I had to have him explain it to me… which, of course – I’m sharing. (Sorry about the craziness in the background!)

He is so CUTE and I can’t get over how “cool” his own fashion sense already is! 🙂
