Getting Fashionably Ready for 2012: Organizing My Closets

I love clothes. And shoes. And handbags. And accessories. And hats.

OK, just about everything fashion-related, I love.

And even though I would DIE to have a room like this in my house for my clothing and everything-else-I-own…

… I don’t.

When we first moved into our house, I let my husband take the closet in our bedroom and I took the closet in our “spare” room at the time. Over the last 5 years in this house, I’ve grown out of the spare room’s closet and have infiltrated the closets in the boys’ rooms. Every season I love to add a few new pieces into my closet that are trendy and chic and work for the upcoming fashion season… my only problem is, I don’t take anything out! So last night I was putting away the laundry and hanging things back into my closets, I realized I didn’t have ANY space left.

Enough is enough.

I don’t wear 1/2 of the clothes in my closet, so why am I holding on to them?

So today… I’m getting ready for 2012. I’m Organizing My Closets. All. Of. Them.

And everything I don’t use/wear – I’m DONATING.

2012… here I come!
