Alex Breakdancing Alone at the Halloween Dance

I think I’m finally rubbing off on my sons.

I will start this blog post off with this confession about my husband… he can be a little on the shy side, but the man knows how to have a good time! When I first met Matt, it was at a frat party at Brown where he was dancing and laughing and really being the “life of the party.” This was my very first impression of Matt. I have to be honest, I loved that about him. He could dance and laugh and have a lot of fun. He wasn’t the guy hanging on the side of the wall, just watching everything happen… he was doing.

I want my boys to be this way. So… ever since the boys were little, we’ve had dance parties in our kitchen. I tell them, “Guys… the girls love a guy that can dance!” LOL… I don’t really know if any of this makes a difference to them, but when I saw Alex rocking it out at his very first Halloween Dance this past weekend, I thought to myself, “Go Alex!”

I have to be honest, my eyes were filled up with tears (happy tears) watching him. He was so proud!

Oh, my… I love this guy!
