Boots for Boys: Totes Youth Boy Rick-Black

In my family, you gotta have boots! We live in Rhode Island and even though we haven’t had a “horrible” winter yet, I know it’s coming. Everyone keep saying that we need to be prepared for a bad winter. I don’t know what that exactly entails, but I’m prepping for it… big time.

And with that prepping comes getting the boys equipped with boots. Not just any boots, they need boot boots… ones that will last and keep them warm and cozy.

Sears recently sent me a pair of their Totes Youth Boy Rick-Black for Benjamin to try out.

Ben has wide feet… in all honesty, his feet are actually bigger than his older brother Alex’s… he’s my “big little man.” So whenever I get shoes for him, the first thing I get worried about is the comfort. I will know from Benjamin in the matter of seconds if the shoes aren’t comfortable… believe me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Well… let me put it this way. He wouldn’t take them off. So in my book, that’s a homerun! ๐Ÿ™‚

He loved them because (and I quote) “they look cool and they feel good.”

I like them because of a few more reason! ๐Ÿ™‚

1. I love that they have an easy-on/easy-off velcro… he can do it all by himself.
2. I love that they’re lightweight. He can easily truck around the house in the them, which is good for him because I don’t want the boots to be too heavy for him.
3. I love that they’re SUPER DUPER warm and cozy. All I had to do was slip my hand in and I could tell how soft and cushion-y they were. Perfect for him!
4. I love the price – $34.98

While you’re looking for some winter boots for boys… keep these babies in mind! ๐Ÿ™‚
