Pumpkins… ’tis the season!

There’s just something so feel good about pumpkins!

Maybe it’s because pumpkins come in all shapes, sizes and even shades… just like people.

Or maybe because pumpkins can be carved, cooked, decoupaged, decorated or dazzled with candles and twinkling lights.

And how about pumpkins as is, with their sturdy stems that become the definition of fragile when a child comes near.

Pumpkins bring Autumn, Halloween and Thanksgiving, corn mazes, apple pies and harvest festivals.

Pumpkins color our world orange like the early morning sun.

Pumpkins can even be magical carriages for princesses-to-be.

Or mostly just plain fun to get invited along with grandkids to poke around, pick out, pick up and carry pumpkins home… smallest to biggest!

Henry!
Benjamin!

William!

Yep.  I’d say grandkids picking out, picking up and carrying home pumpkins is the beginning and best of Autumn!

It just feels so good!
