I have to wear glasses quite a bit. I don’t know what happened, as soon as I turned 25 years old… my vision went ka-put! I have to be honest, I’m not a lover of glasses. They can be heavy on my face. They leave marks on my nose. They need to be cleaned all the time! LOL… the list could go on. But I know I need them. And BADLY.
Contacts are my next thing, believe me!
But when it comes to my sons… I’m on high alert. So far I haven’t had to worry about getting them glasses, but every year, right at this time, we do their check-ups for school. With this check-up comes an eye test. There are so many of my mom friends dealing with some vision issues with their children, so I wanted to pass along an incredible source online for moms!
HEALTHY VISION with Dr. Val Jones seeks to close the gap between vision care attitudes and behaviors by providing listeners with timely and relevant information and helpful resources to help them manage eye health for themselves and their families. I loved listening to her show on Children and Vision. It’s a topic that I feel isn’t discussed to much for moms, and it’s important to have information and advice from experts.
