My son Alexander has afternoon kindergarten, so that means… he spends the mornings with me, alone!  He’s not used to being alone in this house, so he literally savors every chance he gets.

This morning I took him to TJMaxx with me.  I’m heading to NYC on Thursday and wanted to try and find a couple of new things for the trip.  I’ve been drooling over Faux Fur vests lately, I’ve just been dying to get my hands on one.  As we walked into the store, it was like the sea parting… and a halo lit over this gorgeous brown Faux Fur vest.  Oh… so a-la Rachael Zoe!

I tried it on and totally fell in love, only problem… they didn’t have it in my size (I will go to every TJMaxx until I find it!).  Alex watched the whole process of me and this gorgeous Faux Fur vest.

As I was pulling the cart away he said to me, “Does that vest come in my size?”

Oh, yes… the fashionisto wanted one!

And just to make his day, I took him to the boys section to see if there were any Faux Fur vests.  Nothing.  But don’t think this little guy won’t be back to look!
