I live about 10 minutes from my local Sears. We’ve gone there to purchase home improvement items for years now. Honestly, it’s one of my husband’s favorite places to roam around.

But he’s not the only one who loves a Sears visit.

I also love Sears because they have some great style sections for women – Lands’ End, UK Style by French Connection and Apostrophe are my FAVES! I’m not kidding (and Vera Sweeney can attest), they know my name there. So I was excited when I started hearing this incredible BUZZ about the Cheap Sally Party during BlogHer 11, and then got excited when I was asked to help moms style themselves during the party at the Sears cabana during the party! I’m even more excited because Lifetime Moms is a sponsor at the Cheap Sally Party, too – and I’m a fashion/beauty editor for Lifetime Moms!

So Sears put me up to a little fashion test before BlogHer… they asked me to find a super cool, trendy and chic outfit for Cheap Sally with another blogger! And their Sears Style site is up in effect and total got my fashionable juices flowing!

And I had a friend with me… my own bestie, Vera Sweeney! We had so much fun heading to Sears and finding some goodies to wear for the night! I don’t want to give away what dress I actually decided to go with, but… I will give you a little taste as to the fun we had!
