If I had a nickel for each time I’ve heard my husband Barry say I love you to one of our kids or grandkids… I’d be a zillionaire.
If I had a blade of grass for each time I’ve seen Barry hug tight one of our kids or grandkids… I’d cover the earth in green.
If I had a droplet of water for each time I’ve watched Barry kiss one of our kids or grandkids… I’d fill the oceans a million-times over.
If I had a pebble for each time I’ve heard Barry say I’m proud of you to one of our kids or grandkids… I’d build a cathedral that touches the stars.
If I had a flower for each time I’ve seen Barry smile at one of our kids or grandkids… I’d have a parade of floats that circles the globe.
If I had a poem for every simple kindness Barry has shown our kids and grandkids, I would write my own Odyssey.
If I had a musical note for each time Barry has made one of our kids or grandkids laugh ’til they cry… I would fill a symphony hall.
If I had a pancake for every pancake Barry has flipped for one of our kids or grandkids… I’d have a skyscraping tower of pancakes.
If I had a star for each time my heart leaps for Barry as a Dad and Grandpa/Pop-up… I’d create a new constellation.
If I had a fortune… wait!
I do!
I have Barry… !
