I mentioned yesterday on my Pampers recap blog that I met the amazingly sweet and inspiring Rosie Pope (maternity fashion designer and reality TV star) at our Pampers Baby Board meeting.
She looked absolutely beautiful in the pink plaid dress she was wearing, so it made us all smile while during her chat with us she mentioned that she loves to wear maternity clothes (even not pregnant) like the one she had on (that very day) because you can still do so much with them…
And it’s funny because I actually still wear some of my maternity clothing, too because it’s so darn comfy! There are absolute staple pieces that I just can’t get enough of and that you can definitely wear not pregnant (especially with some of the hot trends right now!).
Roll-down shorts (available at Old Navy):
Perfect for the summer because seriously… where else are you going to find soft and cozy and comfy roll-down shorts for the summer? Wear with a tighter tee and/or tank and you’re good to go! Even bathing suits match these perfectly for right on the beach.
Roll-down pants (also available at Old Navy):
Ahhh… there’s nothing like the perfect-cozy-pant, and these are them! I have a pair of these that I wear with tanks and button down blouses and flips right now. This is my staple pant that I wear to pick the kids of up at school, run errands and wear around the house. If you know me in “real life” you know I’m ALWAYS in these!
Gorgeous Silk Blouse (available at the GAP):
Who needs to buy tunics anymore!? Keep all these dressy tops! All you need to do is add a belt and a pair of leggings and/or jeans underneath with some heels and you’re good to go!
Cotton Skirts (available at the GAP):
Never buy skirts for the beach and/or pool again, your maternity skirts are PERFECT to use throughout the summer on the beach! They’re super comfy and cute, great beach attire!
