Home Series: Choosing the PERFECT Color.

Now when it came to choosing the colors, I needed my husband’s help. I couldn’t decide between a few for the basement and for my office, so I was counting on his “expertise” in the matter!

I loved having the sample boards from the Martha Stewart Collection to take home and live with… we literally lived when them for 3-4 days, trying to decide and pick the best colors for our home. I kept thinking about these 3 factors when it came to color:

1) I didn’t want anything too bold
2) I didn’t want anything that was going to be too light in high traffic zones (a.k.a. basement/playroom)
3) I wanted something to look luxurious!

It wasn’t easy because all the colors were beautiful and so many would have worked, but I know we narrowed it down to some PERFECT ones!
