Taking Down the Christmas Lights in May

Oh, yes. That was us this past weekend. We’re totally one of those family’s on the street. You know, the ones that everyone talks about and wondering why (the heck) it’s MAY and the lights are still up. Honest to God, I just took down our wreath about a month ago.

Every single time I pull into our driveway I just keep thinking, we NEED to get those lights down. Thank goodness my husband decided to take care of it this weekend… but not without me almost going into a panic. I hate heights. I hate ladders. I hate it all.

My brother said it best when I told him the lights were finally down… “So soon?”
