When I was in high school there was one place and one place only to shop – Contempo Casual.
You remember that store, right?
Let me bring you back… it was circa 1993 and the hottest of the hot styles were from the movie Clueless. I just wanted to dress like Cher (played by Alicia Silverstone), that was all. I was able to find all my “must have” items at Contempo Casual, which pretty much consisted of short skirts and short shorts. If it was something Cher would have worn, I wore it. It’s funny thinking back now, my parents must have cringed at some of the styles I went to school in!
