Looking through a very long-ago photo album today, I had to catch my breath when I saw the face of a child who would not be born for 30 or so more years…
The face was 2-year old Henry. 2-year old NOW Henry.
The photo was 2-year old Audrey. 2-year old THEN Audrey.
These 2 precious little faces have traveled through all time and space to become Mommy and Son… and it is a breath-stopping miracle to me.
If it weren’t for the little pink-checkered top, this is Henry… Henry’s face in that long-ago photo album.
I saw my grandchild’s face today in a long-ago photo album and it took my breath away…

I see my sister’s face every single time I look at my beautiful niece, Ava Elaine. Tomorrow will be 6 years since the day I first laid eyes on her, and lost my heart forever.
