Shopping Haul at Lands’ End with the BOYS

Shopping hauling has become one of my new favorite things.

You go shopping.

You buy your goods.

You come home and you show them off.

It’s pretty cut and dry, but it’s SO MUCH FUN!

Lands’ End was kind enough to partner with me for a Kid’s Fashion/Shopping Haul. My 4 sons aren’t the biggest fans of heading to any mall, but when I told them we were heading to Lands’ End to buy some bathing suits, they were lined up at the door, shoes on and with their coats zipped!

The one requirement I told them about getting new bathing suits was… they had to all be the SAME. Now with my oldest 2 sons being 5 and 6, they weren’t too happy about sharing the same pattern with their baby brothers, but… it’s something that’s important to me (this way I can find and spot them easily on the beach and at the pool).

So we bought some gorgeous suits for the boys… and came right home to show off our goods. They wanted to “model” them and not just hold them up, so… we did a fashion hauling runway show!

Bathing suits purchased:

Boys’ Pattern Board Shorts

# UPF 50 protection for safer sun time
# 100% nylon designed to dry quickly
# Comfy mesh liner
# Soft internal drawstring for a great fit without chafing
# Knee-length cut for good coverage
# Back pocket with rip-grip closure and self-draining, interior grommets
# Full-elastic waist for Tots

I really love how you not only incorporate your boys into your daily work (like this video) but you really just go with the flow. You are really respectful and KIND to them, even when you’re “working.” I work with kids and families, and am often really … SAD … by the end of the day — a lot of moms just aren’t all that kind to their kiddos.

    Great job, mama!
