Speaking with Puristics founder M’lou Arnett

The three of us – the trio from Mom Generations – me, my mom and my sister, had the INCREDIBLE opportunity to spend an afternoon with Purisitics founder, M’lou Arnett. She’s one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met… her drive, her passion and her mission for creating pure products is simply amazing.

She posed some fabulous questions to the three of us… one of which was, “Do you watch what you put into your bodies? How about your kids?”

It’s crazy to think that I will literally ban cookies and chips and soda from my house for me and my kids, but when it comes to creams/lotions/baby products/feminine products, we sometimes don’t take that much of an approach. I’ve been one of those people who walks into a store and just grabs the quickest and cheapest baby product available. But when it came to their food… oh, my. I was making sure that everything that went into their bodies as babies was good for them. Even till this day, the “best” sweet treat in my house is a granola bar. I don’t want cookies or chocolate or chips or any junk food… I really don’t want the boys constantly eating that kind of food. They’re picky eaters… but essentially that just means that want either PBJ or Grilled Cheese for every.single.meal.

It’s incredible what you begin to discover and read about certain products when you begin to digest the ingredients list. The good news is, it’s never too late to start finding better products for yourself and your family.
